Breaking the chamois into the women’s anatomical pelvic regions has allowed us to formulate both the foam density and height to allow for the optimum cushioning in each region of the chamois. The main contact area of the pelvic region is supported by the higher density foam and 8mm height to allow for support needed to absorb the main force of shock between the road and the rider. The intermediate impact zone with the mid level impact cushioning allows for less bulk to increase comfort whilst protecting the frontal region.
